RIB Software SE new strategic partner of IMS
The RIB Software SE, the world's leading provider of the iTWO 5D BIM Big Data technology for the construction industry and renowned provider of real estate construction solutions, has acquired a majority stake in IMS Gesellschaft für Informations- und Managementsysteme. The cooperation offers both companies significant advantages.
RIB, with its headquarters in Stuttgart, is one of the Top 30 technology companies in Germany (listed in the TecDAX) with more than 350 developers and technology investments of more than 30 million euros per year. Since 1961, around 1,200 employees in more than 30 branch offices have been serving customers in the areas of construction and infrastructure.
The management of IMS will continue to lead the company and will also be responsible for the strategic direction of IMS in the future.
