Digital twin

Digital twins are virtual representations of physical things. For example, they could be a virtual representation of a factory machine. They contain information about how the object is made, how it works and how it is manufactured.
The digital twin is able to simulate all possible problems that the physical object might face in the future. This allows manufacturers to avoid possible malfunctions before they occur.
As cyber-physical solutions become more common in factories and industries, digital twins are also becoming more popular.
