DIN 18960

DIN 18960 (usage costs in building construction): The standard, which serves to determine usage costs in building construction, defines the term “usage costs in building construction” and contains a breakdown of costs. The structure of the standard corresponds in principle to that of DIN 276 (costs in building construction).

In principle, these are costs of building use in a business sense.

These include:

  • capital costs
  • Property management costs
  • operating cost
  • Repair costs (or construction maintenance costs)

If necessary, these cost groups are subdivided into the user cost groups of the second and third level of the utility cost breakdown in DIN 18960, if necessary also according to technical features or other aspects.
