Articial Building Intelligence with iTWO fm

A hot wallet is a cryptocurrency wallet for e.g. Bitcoin for storing values, which is connected to the internet and enables Bitcoins to be transferred easily. This is usually executed as a software wallet and is also referred to as an online wallet. The security level is lower than with a cold wallet, but easier to handle.

Examples of online wallets:

  • Multibit: a fast and easy-to-use Bitcoin wallet
  • Electrum: a software wallet that supports cold storage - meaning that private keys are generated offline for use when needed
  • Armory: is the most popular Bitcoin-client for desktops and a powerful, full-featured solution for managing Bitcoin
