RFID

Egl., abbreviation for Radio Frequency Identification. From a technical point of view, RFID thus stands for the contactless and sightless identification of physical objects. RFID communication is established between a transponder (also called a tag) and a detection or communication system, which can be mobile (mobile device) or stationary (stationary antenna, gate). The dates are stored either on the object or in the system.
